The 11th Annual Colchester Touch-A-Truck

This spring, the Colchester Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce The 11th Annual Colchester Touch-A-Truck on Saturday, May 5th, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the Colchester High School parking lot, rain or shine. Touch-A-Truck gives children and families a chance to get up close and personal with their favorite big-rigs, fire trucks, tractors, construction trucks, and other various large display vehicles.
This event is completely free and has typically seen an average attendance of over 1,000 people. “Quiet Time” will be from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM, which means no sirens or horns may be used. From 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM, horns and sirens on all the trucks may be used. Music may be played during the entire event. The Colchester Police Department and State of Vermont will also host a car seat inspection event on this date at the Colchester Middle School Parking Lot, conveniently located just down the road from the High School.
