The Old Country Fiddle: Charles Ross Taggert, Vermont's Traveling Entertainer, a presentaion by fiddler Adam Boyce at Georgia Public Library and sponsored by the Vermont Humanities Council. Having grown up in Tosham, VT, Charles Ross Taggert went on to a 40-year career performing in countless stage shows across the country including the famous Red Path Chautauqua circuit. Boyce portrays Taggert near the end of his career, circa 1939, sharing recollections of his life and career interspersed with live fiddling and humorous sketches.
