October 11: Intro to Alcohol Ink - 6-8pm, $42/$47 at Milton Artists Guild
Looking to try a new medium and create some vivid abstract plant life and mix color in wild patterns? Join Catherine Putzier at the MAG art center as she teaches you all the basics you need to know to get started creating art with alcohol ink! This is a fun, very flowing medium and students will learn the techniques needed to create and finish a piece on prepared canvas.
A materials package is provided by the instructor, price included in the class fee. It is suggested you wear a smock or your "creating" clothes! Aprons will be available to buy ($5.00) or borrow. Also, extra tiles ($1.00) and encaustic panels prepared by the artist will be available ($5.00) to purchase during the class.
