Learn to paint dramatic, atmospheric skies by using colorful graded washes and by learning the anatomy of many types of clouds. Barbara Pafume will share techniques to create luminous skies used as background and as main subjects in landscape paintings. Artists will leave with sketches,notes and one finished painting.
Artists must bring their own materials. Materials list available and will be sent upon sign-up.
Artists are asked to bring a photo they have taken themselves of clouds they wish to paint. Barbara will have photos available should artists need to use one of those. Please no calendar or magazine photos!
Class will begin promptly and so we suggest arriving a few minutes early to set up so we may all begin at the same time.
